Responsibilities
- Design and build application features in languages such as Python, Java, C#, TypeScript or PHP against agreed requirements and acceptance criteria.

- Break down features into estimated tasks in Jira or Linear, take part in sprint planning and give honest progress updates.
- Document architecture decisions, setup steps and APIs so other developers can work on the system without hand-holding.
- Refactor legacy code and upgrade dependencies to remove security vulnerabilities and technical debt.

Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development with a portfolio of applications shipped to production.
- Strong command of at least one mainstream stack such as Python and Django, Java and Spring, C# and .NET, or Node.js and TypeScript.
- Solid SQL skills with PostgreSQL, MySQL or SQL Server, plus experience with an ORM and database migrations.
- Daily use of Git, pull request workflows and a CI/CD platform, with automated testing as a habit rather than an afterthought.
- Experience deploying to a cloud platform such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, and with Docker for local and production environments.
- Confident written and spoken English for stand-ups, code reviews and technical discussions with stakeholders.
