- User Management: Create and manage Salesforce user accounts, roles, profiles, and permission sets. Handle onboarding and offboarding, ensuring users have appropriate access to data and tools.
- Customization & Configuration: Configure Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and workflows to meet the organization’s needs. Customize dashboards, reports, and ensure the platform supports business objectives.
- Data Management: Maintain data integrity by ensuring accurate and consistent data entry, performing regular data deduplication, importing/exporting data as needed, and running data audits to ensure data quality.
- Automation: Build and maintain automation processes using Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, Workflow Rules, and Approval Processes to streamline business operations.
- Security & Access Control: Implement and manage security settings, ensuring data protection and compliance with organizational policies. Regularly audit security permissions and settings.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide day-to-day support for Salesforce users by troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and providing training when necessary.
- Salesforce Updates & Maintenance: Monitor Salesforce releases and updates, ensuring the system remains up-to-date with new features, enhancements, and patches. Test new functionality and manage any potential impacts on existing configurations.
- Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards to provide meaningful insights into sales, marketing, and customer service performance. Support leadership in data-driven decision-making.
- Integration Support: Assist with integrating Salesforce with other business systems, ensuring smooth data flow between platforms and troubleshooting any integration issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in configuring Salesforce objects, workflows, and automation tools (e.g., Flow, Process Builder).
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration options, such as roles, profiles, permission sets, page layouts, and record types.
- Proficient in building reports, dashboards, and custom views in Salesforce.
- Experience with data import/export tools like Data Loader, DemandTools, or similar.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules for automation.
- Basic understanding of Salesforce integrations and APIs (a plus).
