- Present tender submissions with clear inclusions, exclusions, assumptions and alternatives for the owner's sign-off.
- Maintain the cost database and unit rate library, updating it from actual job costs and current supplier pricing.
- Support the project team after award with budget breakdowns, cost codes and variation pricing.
- Compare estimated versus actual costs at job completion and feed the lessons back into future estimates.
- Track tender outcomes and competitor pricing to sharpen the company's win rate.

Requirements
- Five or more years estimating residential, commercial or civil projects for a builder or subcontractor.
- Skilled in Bluebeam, PlanSwift, CostX, Cubit or Buildsoft for take-offs and estimates, with advanced Excel.
- A degree or diploma in quantity surveying, construction management or civil engineering, or equivalent trade experience.
- Solid understanding of construction methods, sequencing and productivity rates across the main trades.
- Able to write clear tender letters and explain pricing assumptions to owners and clients in plain English.
- Accurate, methodical and able to work to tender deadlines without missing scope.
- A home setup with reliable high-speed internet and backup power, available during the client's tender hours.
