Responsibilities
- Register, number and distribute drawings, specifications and vendor documents in Aconex, ProjectWise, SharePoint or the client's EDMS.
- Issue and track transmittals to clients, contractors and consultants, recording receipt and review status.
- Manage document review workflows, chasing reviewers and recording comments and approval codes.
- Maintain the master document register and deliverables list, reporting progress and overdue items weekly.
- Enforce the project numbering, naming and revision procedures and train the team on them.
- Audit document control records and correct filing, metadata and superseded document errors.
- Compile as-built, handover and archive packages at project completion.
- Control access permissions so contractors and clients see only what they are entitled to.
- Support audits and claims with document trails that show who received what and when.
- Prepare document control procedures and templates for new projects.

Requirements
- At least 5 years of document control experience in engineering, oil and gas, mining or construction.
- Expert with Aconex, ProjectWise, Documentum, SharePoint or a comparable EDMS, plus strong Excel skills.
- Working knowledge of ISO 19650 or equivalent information management standards and document numbering systems.
- Familiar with engineering deliverables such as P&IDs, datasheets, drawings and vendor data packs.
- Good written and spoken English for transmittal correspondence and reviewer follow-ups.
- Exceptionally accurate and consistent, with the patience to enforce procedures politely.
- A home office with fast, stable internet and backup power, available during the client's project hours.
