Responsibilities
- Log and interpret drill core, chips and outcrop data and manage geological databases in acQuire, Micromine or Excel.
- Build 3D geological models and interpretations in Leapfrog, Surpac, Vulcan or Micromine.
- Support resource estimation with domaining, statistics and block modelling for the client's competent or qualified person to sign off.
- Produce geological maps, sections and figures in ArcGIS, QGIS or MapInfo.
- Plan drilling programmes, sampling and QAQC protocols and monitor their execution.
- Prepare geotechnical and hydrogeological data summaries for engineering design.
- Write geological reports, technical memos and contributions to JORC or NI 43-101 reports for the client's qualified person.
- Manage assay data, QAQC analysis and database validation.
- Support environmental and permitting studies with geological input.
- Maintain data standards, templates and procedures for the geology team.

Requirements
- A geology degree with a Philippine PRC geologist licence and at least 5 years in exploration, mining or geotechnical geology.
- Proficient in Leapfrog, Surpac, Vulcan or Micromine and GIS tools such as ArcGIS or QGIS, with acQuire or similar database experience.
- Experience supporting resource estimation and reporting under JORC or NI 43-101, working under the client's competent or qualified person who signs the report.
- Strong data management, statistics and QAQC skills, with Python or R valued.
- Clear written English for technical reports and memos.
- Rigorous, organised and able to work through large datasets to defensible interpretations.
- Reliable high-speed internet and backup power at home, a workstation capable of running 3D modelling software, and availability across the client's working day.
