Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the IT support and infrastructure team, setting priorities, standards and performance targets.
- Own service delivery including help desk performance, SLAs, incident and problem management using ITIL practices.
- Manage the IT budget, licences, hardware lifecycle and vendor contracts, and negotiate renewals.
- Plan and deliver IT projects such as migrations, new office setups, system rollouts and security improvements.
- Maintain the IT roadmap and advise leadership on technology investments and risks.
- Oversee security practices including access control, patching, backups, endpoint protection and staff awareness.
- Manage relationships with managed service providers, ISPs, software vendors and consultants.
- Ensure policies, documentation and compliance requirements are kept current and followed.
- Report on IT performance, costs and risks to executives in plain terms.
- Step into hands-on troubleshooting when needed to keep the business running.

Requirements
- 5+ years in IT with at least 3 years managing an IT team or service desk.
- Broad technical grounding across Microsoft 365, networking, cloud platforms, endpoint management and security.
- Experience managing budgets, vendors and contracts, and delivering IT projects to schedule.
- ITIL Foundation is required, with PMP, PRINCE2 or Microsoft or cloud certifications preferred.
- Track record of building processes, documentation and team capability.
- Strong leadership and communication skills in English, comfortable presenting to executives and coaching staff.
- Dependable high-speed internet with backup power, and availability across the client's business hours.
