Responsibilities
- Analyse and design structural systems for buildings and infrastructure using ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, RAM or SPACE GASS.
- Prepare calculation packages to ACI, AISC, Eurocode, AS or BS standards for the client's certifying engineer.
- Model structures in Revit or Tekla and coordinate with architectural and services models.
- Produce structural drawings, details and schedules to the client's documentation standards.
- Design foundations from geotechnical reports including footings, piles and retaining walls.
- Assess existing structures for alterations, additions and load changes.
- Respond to contractor RFIs and review shop drawings, reinforcement schedules and connection designs.
- Check junior engineers' calculations and drafters' drawings for accuracy.
- Coordinate with architects and other consultants to resolve structural conflicts early.
- Maintain design templates, spreadsheets and standard details for the structural team.

Requirements
- A civil or structural engineering degree with a Philippine PRC licence, a master's degree valued, and 5 or more years of structural design experience.
- Proficient in ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro or RAM, and Revit or Tekla for modelling and documentation.
- Experience designing to international codes such as ACI, AISC, Eurocode or AS standards, working under the client's registered engineer who certifies the design.
- Strong understanding of concrete, steel, timber and foundation design.
- Clear English for calculation reports, coordination and technical discussions.
- Rigorous and self-checking with sound engineering judgement.
