Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Management:
  • - Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • - Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
  • - Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure project goals are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Engineering Design and Analysis:
  • - Perform engineering design, analysis, and calculations to develop solutions for technical challenges and project requirements.
  • - Create detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • - Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate design options and make informed decisions.
  • Technical Documentation and Reporting:
  • - Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate project status, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • - Maintain accurate records of project activities, including design changes, test results, and project milestones.
  • - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in engineering documentation and reporting.
  • Quality Assurance and Testing:
  • - Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure product quality and performance.
  • - Conduct testing, inspections, and evaluations to verify compliance with design specifications, standards, and customer requirements.
  • - Identify and resolve issues related to product quality, performance, and safety through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
  • - Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency gains, and innovation in engineering design, processes, and methodologies.
  • - Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in engineering to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • - Foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the engineering team, encouraging collaboration and idea sharing.

Requirements

  • - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution required; Master’s degree or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.
  • - experience in engineering roles, with a broad understanding of engineering principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • - Proficiency in engineering design software, CAD tools, and other engineering analysis tools relevant to the specific field (e.g., SolidWorks, MATLAB, ANSYS).
  • - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop creative solutions to complex technical challenges.
  • - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
