- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for projects, initiatives, or systems.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to understand stakeholder needs, objectives, and pain points.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business objectives.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to evaluate business performance, opportunities, and risks.
- Interpret data findings and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and visualizations.
Process Mapping and Optimization:
- Map current business processes, workflows, and systems to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Design and implement process improvements, automation, and workflow enhancements to optimize business operations and enhance productivity.
- Facilitate process redesign workshops and stakeholder discussions to drive consensus and alignment on proposed changes.
Solution Design and Evaluation:
- Work closely with technical teams to design and validate solutions that address business requirements and objectives.
- Evaluate alternative solutions, technologies, and approaches to recommend the most appropriate course of action.
- Develop business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and return on investment (ROI) assessments to justify proposed solutions.
Project Management Support:
- Support project managers in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities, milestones, and deliverables.
- Track project progress, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify risks and issues that may impact project outcomes.
- Communicate project status updates, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and escalate issues as needed to ensure project success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Economics, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis, consulting, or related roles, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and systems.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, such as process modeling, requirements elicitation, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, facilitate workshops, and present findings to diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for reporting and analysis.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience working with development teams to deliver solutions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
