Marketing Assistant VA

Responsibilities

  • Campaign Support:
  • - Assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and offline.
  • - Coordinate campaign logistics, such as scheduling, content creation, asset management, and distribution, to ensure timely and effective campaign delivery.
  • - Monitor campaign performance metrics, analyze data, and provide insights and recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Content Creation and Management:
  • - Create and curate content for marketing materials, including blog posts, social media posts, emails, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • - Assist in content development processes, such as writing copy, designing graphics, editing videos, and formatting documents, to align with brand guidelines and messaging.
  • - Maintain content calendars, schedules, and repositories to organize and manage marketing assets effectively.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
  • - Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for market positioning and differentiation.
  • - Gather data, analyze trends, and create reports to track market performance, consumer behavior, and competitor activities.
  • - Assist in the development of marketing strategies, tactics, and messaging based on research findings and insights.
  • Digital Marketing Support:
  • - Assist in the management of digital marketing channels, including website updates, social media management, email marketing campaigns, and online advertising.
  • - Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, engage with followers, and track social media metrics to build brand awareness and engagement.
  • - Support SEO efforts by optimizing website content, conducting keyword research, and implementing on-page and off-page optimization tactics.
  • Administrative and Coordination Tasks:
  • - Provide administrative support to the marketing team, such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, organizing files, and handling correspondence.
  • - Coordinate marketing events, trade shows, and promotional activities, including logistics, booth setup, and attendee coordination.
  • - Assist in budget tracking, invoice processing, and procurement tasks to ensure accurate and timely financial management of marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field preferred; relevant coursework or internship experience may be considered.
  • - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and effectively communicate ideas to internal and external stakeholders.
  • - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, or HubSpot.
  • - Basic understanding of marketing principles, concepts, and tactics, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills in digital marketing, content creation, and campaign management.
  • - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • - Collaborative team player with a positive attitude, adaptable nature, and willingness to support team members and contribute to team goals.
  • - Ability to work independently, take initiative, and problem-solve creatively, while also following direction and adhering to deadlines and guidelines.
  • - Previous experience in marketing, advertising, or related fields through internships, part-time roles, or extracurricular activities is advantageous.
