Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule preventive maintenance in SAP PM, Maximo, Fiix or the client's CMMS based on OEM recommendations and equipment history.
- Develop detailed job plans with tasks, labour hours, parts, tools, permits and safety requirements.
- Build weekly and monthly maintenance schedules and coordinate them with production to minimise disruption.
- Manage work order backlog, prioritising corrective work by risk and criticality.
- Coordinate spare parts availability with stores and purchasing so planned jobs are not delayed by missing parts.
- Plan shutdowns and turnarounds with task lists, sequencing, contractors and resource loading.
- Maintain the equipment register, asset hierarchy and maintenance strategies in the CMMS.
- Track maintenance KPIs such as schedule compliance, planned versus reactive work, MTBF and backlog weeks.
- Analyse failure history to recommend changes to maintenance frequencies and strategies.
- Coordinate external contractors and service providers for specialised maintenance.

Requirements
- Five or more years in maintenance planning or scheduling for manufacturing, mining, utilities or process plants.
- Expert user of SAP PM, Maximo, Fiix, MEX or a similar CMMS, plus Microsoft Project or Primavera for shutdowns.
- Trade or engineering background in mechanical, electrical or instrumentation disciplines.
- Familiar with reliability-centred maintenance, criticality analysis and root cause analysis.
- Clear English for job plans, schedules and coordination with supervisors and contractors.
- Organised and practical, able to turn a backlog into a realistic weekly schedule.
