- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed and accurate technical drawings, schematics, and plans based on project requirements, specifications, and design standards.
- Translate conceptual ideas, sketches, or rough drafts into precise 2D or 3D drawings, incorporating dimensions, annotations, and symbols as necessary.
Design Development and Modification:
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, or project managers to develop and refine design concepts, layouts, and configurations for various projects.
- Iterate on design revisions, incorporating feedback and adjustments to meet client needs, regulatory requirements, and project objectives.
Product and Component Design:
- Design and draft components, parts, and assemblies for mechanical, electrical, or architectural systems, ensuring compatibility, functionality, and manufacturability.
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for fabrication, machining, or construction of components and structures.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and technicians, to review designs, resolve technical issues, and ensure design integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to clarify requirements, address concerns, and provide updates on design progress.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Conduct quality checks and verifications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of drawings with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Review and validate designs for adherence to technical specifications, design guidelines, and best practices.
